‘Windows’
Mac vs PC vs Linux
So I’ve been in with computers for about 4 years now, and it’s come to my attention the absolutely childishness that goes on in commercials, over forums, and in general arguments (walk into Starbucks and say “Mac Sucks” or “Steve Jobs is an Asshole”) and see what happens. Now with the iPhone taking precedence over the lives of many, without them realizing it makes them rant and rave about their new lightsaber application, or the one that puts an Osama Bin-Laden beard and turban on the picture that was JUST taken of them. Or how it can “drink a beer and pour a new one up at the push of a button.” or even so far as a lighter for concerts. None of these have use, but you’re suckered into buying it like a damned fool.

Windows 7 Release Candidate Build 7100
I love it. Plain and simple. I will recommend it to everyone, however only after full release. If you enjoy video games, do not touch the Release Candidate. It’s not working out for me. Punk buster does not work, so Call of Duty, Battlefield 2/2142, FEAR or Americas Army will not work online. Counter Strike works well, however I am having hardware problems, so I will no longer be using it. I may dual boot however, so I can use 7 regularly. At this current moment, I am severely debating a format re-install of Vista so that I can play games, and have some of my laptops functionality back. On a desktop this would work better, I’m sure of it. I am going to buy it for my next PC build, because I won’t be building one until Windows 7 is released. And I will get the Ultimate edition. Otherwise, give it a go. I am glad that I back everything up all the time, so the format will go by smoothly for me anyhow. Also, as a note for anyone doing the upgrade, uninstall any Anti-Virus programs, they get ruined on the install of Windows 7.
