Must Have Application: Vol. 1

I found something today, thanks to a friend & co-worker. This is an application he had on his iPhone that seemed too good to be true. Now, before I go too far, I have an HTC Hero (On Telus Mobility in Canada.) and it is treating me well. Now, I had always wanted more from the keyboard, and more or less just a bit more accuracy in typing with it, without the stupid suggestions it gives me.

Is Intel’s New Series Giving AMD a Better Image?

Intel has been busy at work with new processors to put the Core 2 Duo/Quad names out and come in with their new line, the Core I series. Fantastic little things really, I plan on picking up an i7 920 D0 for my next build actually. That being said, there are some issues I would like to pick about this series, now don’t let this deter you, from it because really, there’s nothing terribly wrong with these, it’s the naming scheme and sheer blind moves that they’re making with them, the first 6 months of this series was simple and effective, especially from a sellers standpoint.

Missing Substance

Games have gone downhill over the last decade, even famous series’ of games have gone more mainstream and lost their way. This is a sad truth not only among video games, but movies and TV as well. The world is dumbing down and looking for the sparkles and bright shiny things, instead of good storytelling and deep character plots.

Beta Alert: Star Wars The Old Republic

Well, it is official. The highly anticipated MMORPG from Bioware is finally accepting Closed Beta Sign Ups. That is right, Star Wars: The Old Republic. I wrote about it a short while ago after there was some substantial information, however I have been anticipating this game since it was merely a rumor.

MacDev has made top quality Speedball markers for years. A well known name in tournament paintball, and even the more regular recreational players.
